Being mentally healthy entails being able to pursue your goals and desires within a community, whatever they may be, as well as living a healthy and full life in general. My interpretation of what something is will certainly differ from yours, and that's fine. Part of that includes being able to deal with life's typical stressors and ups and downs, such as shopping, dating, getting a job, functioning at a job, making friends, dealing with stress, conflict, maintaining your living conditions, remaining physically well, and basic personal hygiene skills.
